Who we are
Do you often feel weighed down by feelings of anxiety? Are you struggling to cope with grief or past traumas? Do you feel misunderstood or struggle with feelings of unworthiness? Maybe you feel burnt out and need a change but don’t know where to start. Maybe you are feeling like you aren’t connected to others and are having a hard time maintaining relationships. As an LMFT, I am committed to giving a safe space to navigate these feelings and offer a path forward. I draw from a variety of models to individualize the needs of each client and their treatment process. With compassion and acceptance, I work with each person to help them recognize and build on their already existing strengths. I enjoy helping people explore and recognize the abilities they already have within themselves to grow and live a happy, healthy, successful life.
Taking that first step towards change can often feel very daunting and requires a great deal of strength and courage. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have sought therapy before, my primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable talking about difficult experiences and to begin creating the changes you want to make for yourself. As an LMFT, I have a passion for working with preteens, teens, adults, couples, and families. I utilize techniques based in EMDR, solution focused, attachment, and trauma informed care. I also offer parenting sessions for parents who feel lost when helping their children manage emotions and life stressors.
